1 Dead in Edinburg Auto Accident on Tower Road and Curve Road

EDINBURG, TX (August 28, 2023) – Saturday night, Esteban Garcia died in a horrific single-vehicle crash on Tower Road and Curve Road.

The crash happened at around 8:59 p.m. on Tower Road, north of Curve Road.

According to reports, a driver and a passenger of a silver 2000 Nissan Sentra traveled north on Tower and Curve Road.

However, the driver failed to yield at the traffic control sign on Tower Road, which was placed for a road closure. Then, they went into the empty portion of the driveway.

Responders transported both the driver and passenger to Doctors’ Hospital at Renaissance.

However, 52-year-old driver Garcia from Edinburg succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Meanwhile, the passenger was later released from the hospital.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
