1 Person Killed in Humble Auto Accident near Will Clayton Parkway and US Highway 59

HUMBLE, TX (October 16, 2024) – Wednesday night, Esoterica Spivey died in a horrific vehicle crash near Will Clayton Parkway and US Highway 59.

The incident started at around 6:43 p.m. when authorities spotted a stolen vehicle and attempted to pull it over. Then, when officers attempted to approach the vehicle, the driver, identified as 25-year-old Sebastian Sanchez, drove off and started a police chase.

According to reports, the suspect collided head-on with another vehicle that was traveling along the Eastex Freeway.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that the driver of the other vehicle, identified as 40-year-old Spivey, died in the crash.

Furthermore, officers managed to arrest Sanchez near Will Clayton Parkway and US Highway 59, and will face serious charges including, murder, aggravated assault, and other charges.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
