Esiguio Campa Robledo Fatally Struck by Several Vehicles on 5 Freeway at Grapevine Road (Lebec, CA)

Esiguio Campa Robledo Identified in Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Lebec

LEBEC, CA (January 08, 2019) – A 54-year-old pedestrian was killed Friday morning after being hit by several vehicles on the northbound 5 Freeway at Grapevine Road in Lebec.

According to the California Highway Patrol, 54-year-old Esiguio Campa Robledo was struck and killed in the number two lane of the freeway at about 5:51 a.m. on Friday. Robledo was reportedly attempting to cross the freeway when he was hit.

A witness told the officers that they saw the victim pull his motorcycle over on the right shoulder, lean it up against a dirt embankment, and then he walked across traffic lanes.

The CHP said that they found the motorcycle on the right shoulder of the freeway, as well as a white Ford pickup truck and trailer. It’s unknown if the Ford was involved in the accident. A red Chevrolet Camaro, a semi-tractor trailer truck, and or a red Dodge Challenger have also pulled over after the crash which is being investigated by the police.
