Motorcycle Rider Injured in Rear-End Collision on Main Street
Hesperia, CA (August 25, 2022) On Tuesday, a motorcycle rider sustained injuries after a hit-and-run crash on Escondido Avenue.
Authorities say that the rear-end collision happened around 12:30 a.m. at the intersection with Main Street.
Reports say that a Honda Accord struck the back of a motorcycle stopped at a red light. The impact knocked the rider off the motorcycle and suffered minor injuries.
The crash caused moderate damage to the Honda, as the vehicle lost its front bumper. Officials say that the Honda driver did not stay at the scene and drove south on Escondido Avenue.
Hesperia Police Department is investigating the accident; however, they have not released further information at this time.
