Erica Miller Dies After Hit-And-Run Crash on 4th Street in Ash Fork

Ash Fork, AZ (August 10, 2024) – Early Saturday, 47-year-old Erica Miller died in a DUI hit-and-run crash on 4th Street.

Authorities arrested a teenage girl on numerous charges, including DUI, following a deadly hit-and-run crash in Ash Fork early Saturday morning. 

The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office received reports around 3 a.m. of a woman struck by a car near 4th Street and Park Avenue. 

Deputies responded and attempted life-saving measures, but the victim, identified as 47-year-old Erica Miller, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Shortly afterward, a woman called YCSO, reporting that her 16-year-old daughter had been involved in a crash. 

Deputies arrived at the home, discovered a damaged vehicle, and made contact with the teen driver and her passenger. 

The investigation revealed that the teenage girl was involved in the crash and is believed to have been impaired at the time. 

She was arrested on multiple charges, including negligent homicide, manslaughter, aggravated assault, excessive speed, endangerment, leaving the scene of a crash, and underage DUI. 

Additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues. 

Ash Fork is located between Flagstaff and Kingman in northern Arizona.
