Eric West Perished in Silva Valley Parkway Traffic Collision [El Dorado Hills, CA]

El Dorado Hills, CA (October 11, 2023) On Monday afternoon, 55-year-old Eric West died in a traffic collision on Silva Valley Parkway.

According to officials with the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened around 5:30 p.m. on Highway 50, the incident also injured 54-year-old Clifton Hiler of Sacramento, and 30-year-old Anthony West of Sacramento.

Reports say that Eric West was driving a 1999 Ford Expedition, with Anthony West as a passenger, collided with a 1990 Mallard Sprinter Motorhome, driven by Hiler.

Authorities pronounced the elder West dead at the scene, while, Hiler and the younger West were transported to UC Davis Medical Center.

CHP is investigating the probable cause of the fatal 2-vehicle crash.
