Eric Hull of Boulder Creek Killed in Motorcycle Tragedy on Highway 9 [San Mateo County, CA]

San Mateo County, CA (May 16, 2023) On Saturday morning, 58-year-old Eric Hull of Boulder Creek, died in a 2-vehicle collision on Skyline Boulevard.

According to the CHP, the motorcycle tragedy happened around 9:30 a.m. on SR 35, between Page Mill Road and state Highway 9.

Reports say that Hull was on a southbound Harley Davidson motorcycle that collided with a Toyota 4Runner in front of him. Officials say that the Toyota was turning left into a private driveway when the motorcycle collided with the vehicle. The impact of the collision sent the Harley off the road and collided with a tree.

Authorities pronounced Hull dead at the scene.

CHP is investigating the 2-vehicle collision and believes that impairment is not a factor in the crash.
