Lancaster Man Eric Buchanan Sr Killed in Freightliner Tractor-Trailer Crash on Sierra Highway

 
Lancaster, CA (March 03, 2021) – On Tuesday, 55-year-old Eric Buchanan Sr of Lancaster lost his life in a deadly crash on Sierra Highway.
 
The fatal accident occurred at about 9:40 p.m. south of Avenue D.
 
Buchanan was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo at about 55-60 mph when his vehicle drifted right onto the dirt shoulder.
 
Then his vehicle drifted left and crossed the southbound lane of Sierra Highway into the northbound lane.
 
As a result, his vehicle crashed with a Freightliner tractor-trailer.
 
The truck driver, on the other hand, was not injured in the incident.
