Colorado Man Erasto Dominguez-Castro Dies in Interstate 10 Collision [Palm Springs, CA]

Palm Springs, CA (November 8, 2023) – 61-year-old Erasto Dominguez-Castro of Colorado Springs, Colorado, was killed in an Interstate 10 collision Monday evening.

California Highway Patrol officers responded to the pedestrian accident at 6:07 p.m. on the westbound freeway near State Route 62.

Investigators said Dominguez-Castro was standing in the No. 4 lane of the freeway when a Nissan Maxima traveling in the number 4 lane struck Dominguez-Castro. He died at the scene minutes after the accident.

Moreover, the Nissan Maxima driver, identified as an Arcadia man, was not injured in the collision.
