Enrique Frutis Pronounced Dead after Multi-Vehicle Auto Collision near Kellogg Drive in San Dimas
SAN DIMAS, CA (April 21, 2020) – On April 19, Enrique Frutis was killed in a multi-car accident on 10 Freeway.
Authorities received a report of the crash at 11:19 p.m., on the westbound lanes of San Bernardino Freeway late Sunday night. Dispatchers arrived to the scene near Kellogg Drive, shortly after receiving multiple 911 calls.
Emergency personnel later pronounced 63-year-old Enrique Frutis deceased on scene. However, it is still unknown whether he died inside a vehicle or outside as a pedestrian.
Furthermore, the deceased was the only victim of the crash.
Meanwhile, officers confirmed that the incident possibly involved three vehicles. However, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear.
Authorities later issued a SigAlert that led to the closure of all lanes of the westbound 10 Freeway in the area. The officers also diverted the traffic off at the Orange (57) Freeway.
By 2:30 a.m. Monday, the lanes reopened.
