30-Year-Old Emmette Brown II Dies in Valley Center Motorcycle Crash
VALLEY CENTER, CA (July 7, 2019) – A Chula Vista man has been identified Tuesday as the motorcyclist killed in a crash at a Valley Center intersection.
The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office said Emmette Antoine Brown II, 30, rode his 2007 Honda motorcycle southbound on Valley Center Road, just West of Mirar De Valle Road at around 4:10 p.m. Sunday when he collided with the left rear bumper of a 2017 Nissan Altima.
The impact ejected Brown from his bike. Paramedics took him to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, where authorities pronounced him dead 30 minutes later.
A 39-year-old Valley Center man driving the Nissan and his two passengers, a 42-year-old woman and a 3-year-old girl, were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
CHP officials are still investigating the deadly crash, trying to determine the factors involved.
