Emily Henz and Daniel Bruno Killed in Two-Car Collision on Paskenta Road
Red Bluff, CA (June 3, 2020)– On Monday, a two-vehicle collision on Paskenta Road resulted in the death of 13-year-old Emily Henz and 26-year-old Daniel Bruno.
On June 1, Daniel Bruno was initially traveling southbound on Paskenta Road south of Rancho Tehama Road.
The California Highway Patrol later said that the he was driving a 2001 Honda Civic at a high rate of speed, around 4:25 p.m.
Furthermore, according to the CHP press release, there were at least two vehicles involved in the fatal crash.
It seems as though Bruno failed to negotiate a curve on the roadway.
As a result, the driver lost control of his vehicle. He proceeded to swerve into the northbound lane, where a 2003 Ford E-250 van struck them.
The Honda in effect collided into the front of the Ford.
The damage killed both him and his female passenger, Emily Henz.
Furthermore, the Ford van driver fled the scene through another vehicle identified as white four-door Honda Accord, the release said.
Apparently, the driver was occupying a stolen van, the one which collided with Daniel Bruno and Emily Henz.
