Emil Crisan Dead in Fontana Pedestrian Accident on Sierra Avenue
FONTANA, CA (May 18, 2020) – Early Saturday morning, Emil Crisan was fatally struck by a vehicle on Sierra Avenue in northern Fontana.
The Fontana Police Department revealed that the collision on May 16 occurred at around 1:04 a.m.
The police reported that a 36-year-old man initially drove in a 2016 Dodge Challenger north on Sierra Avenue.
As the Dodge driver traveled north, he struck Ms. Crisan, who was on the road.
The collision caused fatal injuries and when the authorities arrived at the scene, they declared the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Aftermath and On-Going Investigation
Moreover, the driver stayed at the crash scene and remains cooperative with the police investigation.
At this time, the police officers’ preliminary investigation suggests that alcohol or drugs may have played a role in the fatal pedestrian accident.
The surrounding area on Sierra Avenue was closed off for more than four hours during cleanup and preliminary investigation. However, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
