Tulare Woman Dies after Car Overturns at Gale and Bishop Avenues
HURON, CA (September 7, 2019) – A woman died in a rollover crash early Saturday morning in a rural Fresno County, CHP officials said.
The crash happened around 4:45 a.m. near Gale and Bishop avenues.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray sedan had rolled over about 25 feet off the roadway. Emergency crews arrived and found the female driver with fatal injuries.
The woman, identified as 26-year-old Elvia Mejia Flores of Tulare, was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is unknown if speed, drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
