2 Hurt in Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident on Broadway and 80th Street
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 13, 2022) – On Saturday, Elsa and Dominick Zelaya sustained injuries following a hit-and-run crash on Broadway and 80th Street.
The incident happened on Broadway and 80th Street.
According to LAPD Officer Luis Herrera, a northbound black compact SUV traveled above the speed limit. Then, it struck Elsa Zelaya and her son, Dominick, who were crossing the street outside a marked crosswalk. Then, the vehicle fled the scene after the collision.
Moreover, officials confirmed that Elsa sustained minor injuries. Then, paramedics rushed 3-year-old Dominick to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Furthermore, authorities offer a $25,000 reward for information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of the hit-and-run suspect.
