73-Year-Old Collingswood Woman Fatally Injured in Middle Township Collision
MIDDLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (August 4, 2018) – A woman was killed late Saturday morning and two others were hospitalized following the collision of two vehicles on Court House-South Dennis Road.
According to officials with the Middle Township Police, the collision took place around 11:45 AM. 73-year-old Collingswood resident, Elizabeth MacNamara, was driving south on Court House-South Dennis Road when her vehicle crossed onto the northbound side and collided head-on with an SUV.
MacNamara sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by responding officers. The SUV driver and her passenger, 64-year-old Ann Ramage of Pennsylvania and 65-year-old Roberta Blasdell, were transported to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City with multiple injuries. Further details and updates on their conditions were not immediately available.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the collision and to identify possible contributing factors. No additional information has been disclosed to the public at this time.
