2 Hospitalized in Taft Accident on Tenth and San Emidio Street

 
TAFT, CA (January 11, 2022) – Sunday night, authorities arrested Eliseo Reyes after a hit-and-run Crash on Tenth and San Emidio Street.
 
According to the Taft Police, the incident happened at around 6:50 p.m. on Tenth and San Emidio Street.
 
Reports revealed that a 2004 Ford Mustang rear-ended a southbound 2022 Toyota Camry that stopped at a four-way stop sign. Then, the Mustang fled the scene after the incident.
 
Moreover, responders transported two occupants of the Camry, a 19-year-old driver and a 22-year-old passenger, to a hospital for treatment.
 
Furthermore, a witness managed to follow the hit-and-run driver to the 100 block of Taylor Street and called officers. Then, authorities arrested 44-year-old Eliseo Reyes for DUI, hit-and-run, and driving without a license.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remains under investigation.
