Luis Ochoa Lopez Arrested in Fatal DUI Collision on Olive Avenue

Fresno, CA (December 5, 2023) On Monday morning, 22-year-old Elijah Aragon was killed in a disastrous rear-end crash on Highway 99.

According to CHP, the fatal DUI collision happened on Highway 99 and Olive Avenue.

Reports say that Aragon was driving a northbound Lexus that collided with the back of a Nissan Versa.

The impact of the crash caused the Lexus to veer off the road and sideswiped a tree, then the vehicle crashed into a chain-linked fence and fell 100 feet down an embankment, landing in an empty water basin.

Officials say that Aragon was thrown out of the Lexus and was declared dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the Nissan’s driver 28-year-old Luis Ochoa Lopez escaped injuries, however was found to be under the influence and officials arrested him for DUI.
