Elderly Woman Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Black Mountain Road [San Diego, CA]

One Dies in Pickup Truck and Pedestrian Accident near Mira Misa Boulevard

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 14, 2019) – An elderly woman died in a pedestrian crash on Black Mountain Road on Saturday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened in the 10800 block of Black Mountain Road at approximately 2:50 PM.
 
Reports from the San Diego Police Department showed that the 68-year-old woman was crossing the Bank of America driveway when she was struck by a 2006 Ford F-250 driven by a 43-year-old man.
 
The victim was declared dead at the scene, but she was still transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla.
 
No further information was provided. However, an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
