FRESNO COUNTY, CA (January 5, 2023) – Wednesday night, authorities airlifted an elderly woman after a pedestrian crash on Herndon Avenue and Del Rey Avenue.
The incident happened at about 5:20 p.m. on Herndon Avenue and Del Rey Avenue.
Reports said that a Mazda 3 struck an elderly woman as she crossed the street to check her mail.
At this time, her identity remained undisclosed. However, officers revealed that she wore dark clothes at the time of the crash.
After the incident, responders airlifted her to Community Regional Medical Center with critical injuries.
