86-Year-Old Man Struck and Injured by Vehicle near Bush Street
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (September 22, 2018) – An elderly man was hospitalized Saturday evening following a pedestrian accident on Van Ness Avenue. The identity of the 86-year-old victim was not released.
According to officials with the San Francisco Police Department, the victim was struck by a vehicle at about 8:55 PM near Bush Street.
The impact seriously injured the man, and he was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Updates on his current medical conditions were not immediately available. Meanwhile, the 42-year-old man driving the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities during their investigation.
