Elderly Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Valley Boulevard [San Gabriel, CA]

Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Fatal Pedestrian Collision near Stevens Avenue

SAN GABRIEL, CA (October 15, 2018) – A man was killed Monday morning following a hit-and-run crash on Valley Boulevard. The identity of the deceased victim is being withheld, pending notification of next of kin.

According to the San Gabriel Police Department, the incident took place at about 6:15 AM near Stevens Avenue. A street-sweeper driver found the elderly man unresponsive on the road and immediately called the authorities.

The victim, described as a man in his 90s, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics. Meanwhile, the driver that hit the man did not stop to render aid and fled the area.

Authorities described the suspect vehicle as a small, white sport-utility vehicle. There is currently no description of te hit-and-run driver at this time.
