Serious Injuries Sustained in Pedestrian Crash Near Dunlop Street

 
FALLBROOK, CA (December 28, 2019) – An elderly man was injured in a pedestrian crash on Ulric Street on Saturday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near the intersection of Dunlop Street at approximately 3:30 PM.
 
Reports from the San Diego Police Department, the 79-year-old man was crossing the street when he was struck by a 2017 Nissan sedan driven by a 51-year-old woman.
 
The paramedics sent the man to the hospital for treatment of multiple injuries. The condition of the victim was serious but not life-threatening.
 
The San Diego Police Traffic Division was investigating the cause of the crash.
