69-Year-Old Man Struck at 11100 Block of Roosevelt Way NE and NE Northgate
SEATTLE, WA (May 21, 2018) – A vehicle struck an elderly male pedestrian in a hit-and-run crash on Roosevelt Way Northeast and police are now looking for the driver.
The incident happened near the 11100 block of Roosevelt Way Northeast, near Northeast Northgate. The victim was described by police as a 69-year-old man. He was struck by a gray van that fled from the scene.
Fire officials stated that the man was transported to the Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries. There is no update on his current condition.
The road was closed down for more than two hours, according to Seattle DOT. Authorities continue to investigate and encourage any witnesses or anyone with additional information about the collision, to contact the police.
