1 Hospitalized after Federal Way Car Crashes into Key West Bank
FEDERAL WAY, WA (May 6, 2020) – Tuesday, an elderly man crashed into the Key West Bank and injured a person in Federal Way.
According to a spokesperson for South King Fire Battalion, the man in his 80s was driving through a lane at the Key West Bank when he unintentionally made a turn and crashed through a bank wall.
The vehicle drove through 10-15 feet inside the bank. The car also ran over a man in his late 40s or early 50s. Fortunately, the victim was able to crawl out from under the SUV.
He suffered multiple non-life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, the authorities also revealed that the victim was transported to a hospital, listed in stable condition most recently.
The incident also left three other people with minor injuries. The medical responders treated them at the crash scene.
Towing services were requested in the area due to the extent of damage sustained and to remove the SUV from the building.
