Fountain Avenue Hit-and-Run Collision Kills 57-Year-Old Pedestrian
Los Angeles, CA (September 19, 2023) On Sunday evening, 57-year-old Elder Bardales of Los Angeles died after a hit-and-run crash on Highland Avenue.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the Hollywood hit-and-run collision happened around 10 p.m. near Fountain Avenue.
Reports say that a southbound vehicle fatally struck Bernales, as the pedestrian was walking east, crossing Highland Avenue.
Authorities declared the male pedestrian dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene after the crash.
Officials say that the driver was later found and apprehended.
