79-Year-Old Eladio Santiago Dies in Pedestrian Accident on McKinney Street [Denton, TX]

Denton, TX (September 9, 2024) – 79-year-old Eladio Santiago was killed in a pedestrian accident on McKinney Street Friday night

It was about 8:50 p.m. when the collision between a pickup truck and a wheelchair-bound person happened at the 1700 block area.

Eladio Santiago was a resident of the Veranda Apartments. The rescuers transported him to Medical City Denton where he was declared dead.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner said Santiago died from blunt force injuries.

Investigators closed McKinney Street near Mack Park while they investigated the crash scene.
