Deadly Multiple Vehicle Collision Killed One and Injured Two Others at San Pablo Dam Road

EL SOBRANTE, CA (April 3, 2018) – A fatal multi-vehicle collision in Contra Costa County took the life of a person and injured two others, early Tuesday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 6:40 PM in the 5500 block of San Pablo Dam Road near Terri Ann Court.

At least three vehicles were involved in the crash, as stated by responding officers and the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District firefighters. Richmond police also offered a hand in regulating traffic control.

The paramedics declared one person dead at the scene of the accident, while two others were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment of minor injuries. The identities of the victims were not disclosed to the public.

At around 7:10 PM, officers already ordered for the Valley View Road roadway to be momentarily shut down, advising motorists to avoid the area. Authorities are still conducting an investigation before releasing any additional information.
