Vehicle Crashes on Dirt Road in El Sobrante, Fatality Reported

 
EL SOBRANTE, CA (March 17, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a traffic collision Sunday night in El Sobrante, CHP officials said.
 
The fatal collision happened around 6:13 p.m. at the intersection of Sobrante Ave and Heath Drive.
 
According to an initial report, a vehicle had crashed on a dirt road for unknown reasons. Firefighters and emergency crews responded to the scene, and found at least one fatality as a result of the accident.
 
The involved vehicle was towed away for evidence.
 
Details are sparse on what exactly transpired to cause the collision, and it is unknown if another vehicle was involved.
 
Authorities are still working on the incident and urging witnesses to come forward with information.
