Morning 3-Car Crash on 10 Freeway in El Monte, Complaints of Pain Reported
EL MONTE, CA (May 1, 2019) – A woman was hurt following a three-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in El Monte, CHP officials said.
The crash happened around 7:43 a.m. on westbound 10 Freeway at Santa Anita Avenue.
Los Angeles County Fire Department officials responded to the scene and located a white Chevrolet Sonic and two other vehicles blocking the third lane of the freeway.
While the cause of the crash has not yet been determined, a female occupant was found in the crash site with complaints of pain to the chest and head.
Paramedics transported the patient to a hospital for proper treatment.
The incident is still under investigation by the California Highway Patrol to ascertain additional information.
