Hit-and-Run Collision on Santa Anita Avenue near Mulhall Street
EL MONTE, CA (February 23, 2018) – A bicyclist was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash on Santa Anita Avenue near Mulhall Street on Friday.
According to the El Monte Police Department, the hit-and-run was reported around 6:10 PM. The van was traveling southbound on Santa Anita Ave when it struck the 54-year-old bicyclist and fled from the scene. The male victim was taken to a nearby hospital and was reported to be in critical condition.
Authorities determined that the suspect vehicle is a green Nissan Quest minivan with front-end damage. They are now searching for the vehicle and its driver.
