Amethyst Road Multi-Vehicle Crash Hospitalized Four Children
Victorville, CA (April 25, 2021) – On Friday, eight people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Amethyst Road.
The accident happened at approximately 3:51 p.m. at the intersection of Luna Road.
Reports said a black Chevy Tahoe driver traveling at a high rate of speed ran the red light and t-boned a sedan which was driven by a woman with three children.
Apparently, the SUV driver foot bailed from the accident scene and left one of his passengers who suffered a broken leg.
Meanwhile, Victorville City Firefighters used the jaws of life to free two people trapped in different vehicles.
Officers said there was a total of eight patients with two of them critically injured. So, they requested two helicopters to respond to the scene.
Moreover, the emergency responders took the remaining six patients, which included four children, by ground ambulances to area hospitals. Two of the patients suffered minor injuries, and the other four were delayed.
Police later located the male driver who fled in an adjacent neighborhood. There were no additional details on his condition or possible charges at the time this article was written.
