1 Dead in Houston Auto Accident on 4700 North Freeway

HOUSTON, TX (December 27, 2023) – Friday, Edwardo Delgado was arrested after a horrific car crash on 4700 North Freeway.

The incident happened at about 2:25 a.m. in the 4700 block of North Freeway

According to reports, officers charged 36-year-old Delgado following the crash that killed a 35-year-old woman.

When officers arrived, they determined that Delgado drove a silver Chevrolet Tahoe. Then, he didn’t stay in one lane and struck a concrete barrier. Afterward, the car struck another concrete pillar before it landed on its side.

Meanwhile, the female passenger in the Tahoe was declared dead at the scene.

Also, responders took Delgado to the hospital for treatment of his injuries, and was found to be intoxicated.

Then, reports revealed that he was out on bail for previous DWIs. Witnesses and law enforcement added that the suspect blamed the crash on the passenger.

He has a bail set at $350,000 and is presently incarcerated in Harris County Jail.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
