35-Year-Old Port Orchard Man Hospitalized after Hit by Car on Highway 305 Near Cedar Glen Mobile Home Park
POULSBO, WA (February 6, 2018) – A 35-year-old Port Orchard man was injured after being struck by a car on Highway 305 on Tuesday night around 11:38 PM.
According to the Washington State Patrol, Edward Paluck was walking in the middle of the road on the highway across the street from the Cedar Glen Mobile Home Park, when he was struck by a southbound car. The driver was a Bremerton woman; both she and the victim attempted to avoid a collision.
Paluck suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to the Harborview Medical Center. There is no update on his condition at this time. The driver was unharmed and remained at the scene to speak with officials.
This is the second pedestrian accident to occur in the area on Highway 305 at night. A 23-year-old Kingston woman, Shaina Stewart, was crossing the highway on Saturday, February 3rd at 11:25 PM, when she was also hit by a car.
