Phoenix, AZ (September 18, 2022) – Friday night, 52-year-old Edward Garza died in a hit-and-run crash on 40th Street and McDowell Road.

The fatal hit-and-run crash in Phoenix happened at around 11:45 on September 16.

Phoenix Police said they found Garza with injuries that are consistent with being hit by a vehicle. He died at the scene.

However, the vehicle that hit the victim fled the scene.
