32-Year-Old Eduardo Rabinal Killed, Jessica Dewet Arrested in Ontario Crash
Ontario, CA (July 06, 2021) – On Monday, 32-year-old Eduardo Rabinal and 20-year-old Nilson Tucabal died in a DUI crash on Riverside Drive.
The accident happened at about 11 a.m. on Euclid Avenue intersection.
The accident took place at around 11 A.M.
Officers said 43-year-old Chino resident Jessica Dewet was driving the white van while under the influence when she struck Rabinal and Tucabal.
A witness of the crash and said that Rabinal and Tucabal were crossing the street when their cart was struck by Dewet.
Reports said a driver in the fast lane slowed down to let the two vendors cross. However, a white van sped around the other driver into the slow lane and plowed right into both men.
Tucabal was still moving after the accident while Rabinal died instantly.
Meanwhile, loyal customers said that Rabinal’s death is heartbreaking. Both vendors are well known and respected in the community.
Moreover, Rabinal’s family said they’re hoping to raise enough money to have his body sent home to his family in Guatemala.

Later on, the authorities arrested Dewet and charged her with driving under the influence and gross vehicular manslaughter.
