Edgar Escobar Morales Injured in DUI Crash on Interstate 90 [George, WA]

George, WA (February 06, 2022) – On Saturday, 26-year-old Edgar Escobar Morales of Olympia sustained injuries while officers 32-year-old Fernando Escobar Morales, also of Olympia, in a DUI crash on Interstate 90.

A 2004 Chevy Avalanche pickup truck driven by Fernando Escobar Morales blocked the westbound off-ramp at State Route 281.

Meanwhile, a backseat passenger, 35-year-old Myra Medina Preciado was unbuckled and was thrown from the truck.

“Fortunately, the passenger who was ejected is in stable condition at the hospital,” said Bryant. “So it’s just a DUI accident right now. If she would have had more injuries, maybe broken bones or internal injuries, it could have gone up to a vehicular assault, but it didn’t.”

Immediately, emergency rescuers rushed Fernando Escobar Morales and front-seat passenger Edgar Escobar Morales to a Quincy Valley Hospital with minor injuries.

Rescuers took Medina Preciado to the same hospital in stable condition.

Moreover, the officers arrested Fernando Escobar Morales on DUI charges.
