Eddie Humphries Injured in Highway 191 Fatal Collision [Odessa, TX]

Odessa, TX (January 23, 2024) – 79-year-old Eddie Humphries sustained injuries following a Highway 191 fatal collision Sunday.

The solo-vehicle crash unfolded on East Loop 338 wherein the vehicle left the roadway and rolled over.

Responding officers declared the driver, 27-year-old Jose Rivera Veliz, dead at the scene. The passenger, Eddie Humphries, was transported to Medical Center Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

Officers are investigating the cause of the collision.
