Tacoma Police Searching for Suspect in Fatal Collision on East 34th Street

Tacoma, WA (September 2, 2022) On Friday afternoon, a vehicle fatally struck a person in a hit-and-run crash at East 34th Street.

The Tacoma Police Department says that the fatal collision happened at the intersection with East D Street.

Reports say that a southbound vehicle ran a stop sign and struck another vehicle. Afterward, the suspect’s vehicle fled the scene.

At the moment, it is not clear if the victim died at the scene or at a hospital.

Moreover, police say that the suspect stole the vehicle from Puyallup.
