CHP Investigates Fatal Traffic Crash near Highway 127
Baker, CA (January 20, 2024) On Friday morning, a 2-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 killed 2 people and led to several injuries.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the fatal traffic crash happened around 4:09 a.m. on the northbound 15 freeway, north of Highway 127, near mile marker 142.
Reports say that a white Budget rental truck and an unknown type of vehicle were involved in the crash.
According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department crews, a total of 6 people were involved in the crash, 2 of whom were pronounced dead at the scene, while 3 people were airlifted to the hospital.
Authorities are investigating the fatal traffic crash and have not released further details at this time.
