Eada Talal Al-Soodani Hurt in Interstate 90 4-Car Crash [Issaquah, WA]

Issaquah, WA (May 3, 2023) On Sunday evening, 25-year-old Eada Talal Al-Soodani of Peshastin was hurt after a 4-car crash on Interstate 90.

WSP says that the DUI crash happened at around 7:15 p.m. on Interstate 90 near milepost 20 at High Point.

Reports say that Angel Martinez Mercado was driving a vehicle impaired and crashed into Al-Soodani’s car, who was driving home from an airline flight.

The impact of the crash caused Al-Soodani’s car to collided with another vehicle and sent both vehicles across the highway median into the path of westbound traffic.

Officials say that Al-Soodani’s car was struck again by another vehicle and ended up in the shoulder. Rescuers extricated the female driver from her car and was rushed to Harborview Medical Center for emergency treatment.

Meanwhile, Mercado was arrested on the scene on suspicion of vehicular assault, DUI, and hit and run. Mercado did not suffer injuries due to the crash.
