Male Skateboarder Hospitalized in E Street Traffic Crash

Chula Vista, CA (September 2, 2022) On Wednesday morning, a hit-and-run collision on E Street left a male skateboarder with serious injuries.

Chula Vista Police Department say that a white Mercedes struck the man on his skateboard at around 11:24 a.m.

Reports say that the Mercedes was going about 35 to 40mph at the time of the crash, and the impact of the collision caused the victim’s body up and over the roof of the car.

Afterward, the Mercedes fled the scene, towards east on E Street. Meanwhile, a Mercedes emblem was found next to the victim’s body.
