Truck Rolls Over on 5 Freeway in Seattle

 
SEATTLE, WA (January 15, 2019) – Tuesday morning, a dump truck was involved in a solo-car accident on the 5 Freeway.
 
It was reported that the accident occurred around 9:00 AM near Northgate on the 5 freeway.
 
Upon the arrival of first responders, the truck was flipped over on its side, which caused it to spill the load of dirt is was carrying. According to the Seattle Fire Department, the driver was not injured.
 
Due to the wreckage, several lanes were blocked for a long period of time and a cleaning crew was dispatched to the scene for cleanup.
 
The identity of the driver and his current condition has not been released to the public.
 
There has been no further information released regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident at this time as investigations continue.
