Vehicle Catches Fire in DUI Collision near Bryan Avenue
IRVINE, CA (February 9, 2020) – A DUI driver suffered minor injuries in a fiery car crash on Culver Drive early Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Bryan Avenue at approximately 12:45 AM.
Reports first showed that a 26-year-old woman from Orange crashed her SUV into a tree. The vehicle then caught fire due to crash impact.
A good Samaritan therfore pulled the unconscious driver from her burning car. She suffered only minor injuries in the incident.
The crash on Culver Dive was extinguished once emergency responders arrived at the scene.
Officials later arrested the driver on suspicion of DUI. No other details were released.
