1 Detained after Santa Clarita Auto Accident on Nearview Drive

 
SANTA CLARITA, CA (October 11, 2020) – Saturday morning, authorities arrested a DUI driver after a crash on Nearview Drive.
 
The authorities received a report of a traffic crash about 3:00 a.m. According to the report, a DUI suspect crashed into a home on the 16000 block of Nearview Drive.
 
“A vehicle did hit a two-story house,” revealed Bernard Peters. Peters is a dispatch supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
 
Due to the collision, the authorities arrested the vehicle driver and booked him on DUI charges, stated Sgt. Elizondo with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
 
“Units requested building and safety for some structural damage,” Peters said.
 
Furthermore, the officials confirmed that the crash didn’t result in any major injuries.
