DUI Crash on Orange Avenue Kills 25-Year-Old Woman [Coronado, CA]

Coronado, CA (July 29, 2022) – On Friday, a 25-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries in a DUI crash on Orange Avenue.

The fatal solo-vehicle collision happened at about 12:30 a.m. in the 1100 block area near the Hotel Del Coronado.

When the officers arrived at the scene, they located the gravely injured woman. They say she was a backseat passenger in a white sedan.

Sadly, the unidentified woman died at the scene.

Moreover, the rescuers rushed the 20-year-old male driver and the 20-year-old female front passenger, to a hospital with non-fatal injuries. 

In the meantime, officers consider intoxication and speeding may have been factors in the fatal collision near the Hotel Del Coronado.

The authorities withheld the deceased’s identity pending notification of kin.
