AUSTIN, TX (March 14, 2023) – Sunday morning, a DUI crash on South Congress Avenue and East Riverside Drive injured medics.
The incident happened at about 3:30 a.m. on South Congress Avenue and East Riverside Drive, said Division Chief Eric Jakubauskas.
According to reports, an alleged drunk driver struck an ambulance responding to a medical call near the intersection of South Congress and East Riverside.
As a result, responders transported both medics to the hospital.
