Reckless Driving Caused 2-Vehicle Collision on Sleater Kinney Road Northeast
Thurston County, WA (June 12, 2024) On Sunday morning, a suspected DUI crash on Sleater Kinney Road Northeast left 2 drivers hospitalized.
According to the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office, the 2-vehicle collision happened at about 12:30 a.m. near 26th Avenue Northeast.
Reports say that a male driver was allegedly driving under the influence and exceeding the speed limit and crashed into a vehicle driven by another male driver. Officials say that the at-fault driver, identified as a man in his 20s, ran a stop sign before the collision.
Officials say that the man in his 20s was ejected from his vehicle, and both drivers were transported to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia.
Deputies are investigating the high-impact collision and have not released further information at this time.
