Bicyclist Hospitalized After Crash on Northern Avenue in Glendale

Glendale, AZ (June 6, 2024) – Wednesday night, a bicyclist sustained injuries in a crash on Northern Avenue near Desert Diamond Casino.

Glendale police assisted Tohono O’Odham Police at the crash site on Northern Avenue, just east of Loop 101. 

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found a man who had been riding a bicycle struck by a truck. The man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Glendale police confirmed that impairment was a factor in the crash. 

They arrested the pickup truck driver for related offenses, but the driver’s identity has not yet been released. 

The crash remains under investigation.
