Saugus, CA (August 22, 2024) – On Wednesday afternoon, 38-year-old Alan Loveland was arrested after a DUI crash on Bouquet Canyon Road.

The crash, which occurred around 3:10 p.m. near Bouquet Canyon Road and Wellston Drive, involved four vehicles.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they identified the driver responsible for the crash as being under the influence, as confirmed by law enforcement. 

Photos shared on social media show a man exiting his vehicle holding a bottle of Jameson Whiskey. 

The crash resulted in multiple injuries, with one person trapped in their vehicle who had to be rescued by firefighters.

Alan Loveland, 38, from Santa Clarita, was arrested for DUI and was taken to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, according to Sgt. Perkins of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. 

The condition of the injured individuals remains unknown as of Thursday afternoon.
